Professional Background

Gabrielle’s career includes eight years with the Canada Revenue Agency, followed by decades in public practice. She later grew and ultimately sold a mid-sized North Shore–based accounting firm, where she served as a founding partner and business development lead.

Her work has supported individuals, corporations, estates, and trusts across complex tax, accounting, and business matters, with particular emphasis on financial literacy, thoughtful structuring, and proactive planning. This breadth of experience informs a measured, practical approach to advising clients through both routine and highly nuanced circumstances.

In 2026, Gabrielle joined her accounting and tax practice in collaboration with Dale Matheson Carr-Hilton LaBonte (DMCL) as part of a deliberate plan to support long-term continuity, expanded technical expertise, and seamless client service.

She continues to work closely with clients while collaborating with DMCL’s broader team of professionals, thoughtfully transitioning files where appropriate to advisors whose skills best align with each client’s needs. Gabrielle remains personally involved to ensure consistency, care, and a smooth handover, and will continue working with DMCL for the coming years.

A sought-after speaker, instructor, and author, Gabrielle regularly leads seminars and publishes articles on tax and accounting topics for organizations including CPA Canada, TEC Canada, the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, and the BC Real Estate Association.

She is a recipient of numerous awards for business excellence and is frequently quoted as a financial expert in national and regional media, including The Globe & Mail, Financial Post, and Canadian broadcast outlets.

Community Involvement

Deeply committed to community service, Gabrielle has served on the boards of the Kiwanis North Shore Housing Society, Lions Gate Hospital Foundation, and the West Vancouver Chamber of Commerce. She has also volunteered her time and expertise with the West Vancouver Soccer Club and the Condominium Home Owners Association of BC, using her professional experience to support organizations that strengthen the community she calls home.
